Hope can give you a lot of things, that money can't; what other's can't. So would you stop hoping, because you didn't get the first grade? I don't think so. We still wanna hope, don't we?
Yes, it gives you strength, assures you to keep trying, the victory will be yours. So would you give up? or hope to win?
Never give up. Hope, strive, and keep up the efforts. Take the first step. That is considered to be the hardest.

About hope being the silver linning sometimes is true.....but it sucks and breaks you when those hopes are not met. Im not saying we should quit hoping in fear of being unsuccessful in whatever but if being optimistic has always ended up as a slap on your face then Im sorry, hoping again wouldn't make you courageous, only stupid. Learning from past experiences is the way to go.
@brok3n: Definitely Learn. Thats what pasts are for. move on. Hope again. New hope. It's not the hope that was bad. It was the circumstance. :)

Times always change, that's there nature. Keep hoping for good, thats what we should be doing.

Im just saying..easy nahi hai na..after having all your hopes crushed..but I guess sooner or later you gotta hope and aspire for something. Anything. To get you through life heh.

Next, hope never works alone. First we need to try, make an effort for a change, then hope. Then we expect. If that effort doesn't work, it doesn't mean that u give up the efforts. We try again, again and again. and keep trying until we get what we are looking for. and eventually we get it.
Bigger question is what do u really want? Is that good for you? Truly? :)
